Chris Bevan, chairman

Chris was appointed chairman on Provek in 2014.  He is a highly experienced interim manager and consultant with an outstanding track record of achievement in designing and executing transformation and change programmes, supporting business start-ups, developing project delivery capabilities in telecommunication, retail, supply chain, information systems, manufacturing construction and finance in the UK, Europe & USA.  Chris is an accomplished programme director and business change leader with exceptional stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.  With over 30 years of experience evolving an approach to support change through executive positions with UK and US based organisations he is used to working at the CxO level and at the operational level with equal ease and effectiveness. Chris has led programme & project organisational and structural change assignments for national and international companies.

 

Alan Garvey, managing director

 

Alan joined Provek in January 2017 and became Managing Director in April 2017.

Alan was previously Managing Director EMEA of the project management training company, TwentyEighty Strategy Execution (formerly ESI International) from 2002 to 2016. He joined ESI in London as the Managing Director in 2002, from which time the business expanded to include offices in Stockholm, Frankfurt, Dubai, Madrid and Johannesburg.

 

Alan also ran ESI’s business in Asia Pacific from January 2010 to April 2012 from its base in Singapore, and was responsible for operations in China, Australia and India.

 

On his return to London in April 2012, until 2014, he also assumed the role of Managing Director in EMEA for Achieve Global (now AchieveForum), one of ESI’s sister companies, specializing in sales, leadership and service training.
Prior to ESI, Alan held a variety of technical and leadership positions with IT services and training companies. His career started in 1981 with International Computers Ltd (ICL), now part of Fujitsu. In the 1990’s he held several roles in the IT services company TMS Information Solutions Ltd., (later acquired by the Parity Group), becoming Managing Director in 1997.

 

Dr Andrew Delo, chief digital officer

 

Andrew joined Provek in 2002 and has led the company for ten years from 2007 and also founded The PM Channel. He pioneered the development of comprehensive online assessment techniques for project staff and leads that area of Provek’s business.  He is an experienced training consultant and has worked with a range of organisations on the design and delivery of project management development programmes. 

 

Following his university education and research degree, Andrew’s early career was in public health construction, becoming a chartered civil engineer.  He then moved into specialist consultancy services in the water industry and having gained an MBA moved on to run various training and technology transfer businesses.  His project management experience spans civil engineering, software development and professional services. 

 

 

Neil Mooney, non-exec director

Neil joined Provek in 2007 and for ten years led the training and development business and was responsible for the management of all training assignments with our major clients.  Neil is an APM Practitioner Qualification assessor and was one of the first to achieve APM Registered Project Professional (RPP) designation both as candidate and as assessor. Neil is actively involved in the advancement of project management through contributions to APM's various working groups.  Neil’s early career was in the manufacturing industry within research and development, quality management, manufacturing plant and operations management gaining a wide range of invaluable experiences which led on to full time roles in pan-European major business improvement projects. To further his development in delivering change, Neil for the next 10 years moved in to client-facing consulting in project environments across both the private and public sectors working for PwC Consulting, IBM Business Consulting Services and Serco Consulting.

 

 

Mike WarrenMike Warren, senior consultant

Mike is a professionally qualified project manager with over 20 years experience in the manufacturing, nuclear, offshore and defence sectors.  He has managed a variety of large change projects. In these roles he was responsible for delivering cradle to grave solutions to major UK and international clients within demanding time, cost and performance parameters.  Mike joined Provek in 2005 and has designed and delivered a wide-range of project management training courses including PRINCE2, APMP and many tailored courses for clients.

 

Greg Montgomery

Greg Montgomery, senior consultant

Greg joined Provek in 2015 and is an experienced professional with a proven track record in leading and managing projects, businesses, training & operations. He has succeeded in leading & transforming teams at local, regional & national levels, operating as a contractor, consultant & client in housing, construction, utilities, manufacturing and renewables amongst others. Greg is experienced in developing and deliverying practical workshops and enjoy hands-on training delivery. He is relationship focused, able to relate at all levels and develop business through partnering, commitment, trust and credibility.
