June 2017: Provek sponsors APM Social Project Award

The APM Awards ceremony will be held on Monday 20 November 2017 at its new location of Old Billingsgate. We are delighted to announce that Provek is sponsoring the APM Social Project of the Year Award for 2017.

Provek has a long relationship with the APM and is a leading provider across the full range of APM qualifications. We designed and run the new APM Role Profiler based on the APM competence framework which has already been used almost 1,000 times by project professionals since September 2016.

We also own and manage The PM Channel, the unique collection of videos for project management training and development, with over 1,000 project management videos by over 400 contributors. The APM is the leading contributor to The PM Channel.

The Social Project award is for projects with the specific aim of developing solutions that deliver benefits to society - locally, regionally, nationally and globally. These projects seek to address the concerns of 21st century society, including:

  • Conservation of natural resources
  • Ageing population
  • Better life in cities
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Safer, kinder technology

Who can and should participate?

Companies, charities, public bodies, third sector, volunteers, social enterprises and individuals who have successfully initiated projects that aim at solving social problems can participate in this award. This may include corporate social responsibility projects by companies (not undertaken for profit), environmental initiatives, and voluntary and social projects by individual pioneers and innovators.
