Provek has partnered with rail training specialist Intertrain, to deliver PRINCE2® bootcamps as part of a UK Government initiative to provide employers with the opportunity to support individuals to retrain, update or formalise their skills or acquire specialist skills.
The National Skills Fund will:
- fund 70% of the cost of upskilling the existing workforce across the variety of sectors for large employers*
- fund 90% of the cost of upskilling existing workforce for SME employers*
*Definition to qualify as an SME: employs less than 250 employees and annual turnover is under €50 million.
This initiative runs from Sept 2022 to March 2023, where individuals can enrol on scheduled open bootcamps, or organisations can run their own closed bootcamps (subject to meeting minimum cohort numbers).
The Intertrain/Provek PRINCE2® bootcamp runs over 13 weeks where delegates complete circa 76 hours of study and workshop attendance. Delegates will achieve the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner (6th edition) professional certifications.
The bootcamp compromises of four key modules:
PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner (4 days)
PRINCE2® is an industry-proven methodology that concentrates on boosting productivity and extracting the best from resources.
‘Soft Skills’ (2 days)
Delegates will learn key skills in communicating effectively with stakeholders and project team members, improving confidence and competence in becoming an all-round successful project manager.
Introduction to Agile (1 day)
Delegates will learn the core principles of Agile thinking, and how this approach can be integrated into their current methodologies to achieve greater outcomes.
Client Relationship Management (1 day)
Enabling delegates to be more proactive and how best to manage client expectations, improving client satisfaction and helping to increase repeat business.
