Congratulations to Lauren Bryan, a Project Support Apprentice at NHS England, who has been awarded our first Learner of the Quarter for Provek’s Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship!
“I am extremely proud to have been named learner of the quarter.
My journey throughout my apprenticeship has been a turbulent one, I have faced challenges and learned so much, of course about project management, but also about myself!I came into this apprenticeship a novice in the corporate, professional world and I am leaving with skills, knowledge, and a self-confidence I have never had before.
It became apparent during my studies that I was struggling with my work, the focus and timekeeping rather than academic understanding, and with the encouragement and support of my employer and Provek, I have sought help and received an ADHD diagnosis.
There had been times where I felt overwhelmed and unsure of my ability to even complete this apprenticeship, but here I am now at the end having successfully passed everything! I honestly am not completely sure the result would have been the same without the support I have received, my skills coach has been incredible and always there when I needed her, and the support of all of the trainers and the other learners during workshops and study sessions have given me the confidence and clarity I needed when I was feeling unsure.
Throughout my learning, my personal and professional development has been very apparent, I have received fantastic feedback and I have shared my learning with my colleagues.
Moving forward, I am so excited for the future and the career prospects that this qualification will provide me. I will always look back at this time with a strong sense of pride and achievement.”
