What is National Apprenticeship Week?
National Apprenticeship Week took place on the 8th-14th of February 2021 and it is a one-week annual event that inspires future apprentices and employers by showing them personal experiences of how individuals and businesses have progressed through apprenticeships.
The theme this year was ‘Build the Future’ to encourage individuals to consider how apprenticeships can shape the future of businesses, individuals, and employers.
#AskAnApprentice
#AskAnApprentice was a day to encourage aspiring apprentices to understand more about apprenticeships and to demonstrate to them how an apprenticeship can upskill their capability and kick start their future careers, through current and past apprentices sharing their experiences.
Provek interviewed previous and current apprentices who had enrolled on our Associate Project Manager programme to understand the benefits they had gained. Their feedback demonstrated apprenticeship training improved confidence and competence, increased knowledge and experience, and has helped their career prospects.

#AskAnEmployer
#AskAnEmployer was a day for organisations to share how employing an apprentice has helped shape their business in a positive way and to encourage other employers to realise the business benefits that apprenticeships can provide.
We interviewed two of our clients that have recently employed an apprentice, to ask for their experience and opinions on apprenticeships from a business perspective.

#ThankYouThursday
#ThankYouThursday was an opportunity for employers and apprentices to say thank you to someone who has helped them develop during their apprenticeship.
Have a read of the open letters that we received from two of our apprentices, one previous apprentice who wanted to thank one of our trainers, Kristian Hardy, and our current apprentice who wanted to thank his line manager.

The true value of apprenticeships
On Sunday the theme was to show what makes apprenticeships great, our Training Director created a short video reflecting on how he started his career as an apprentice engineer, the true value of apprenticeships and how proud Provek are proud of both, our current and graduate apprentices that have enrolled on our Associate Project Manager programme.
