With the recent events of Covid-19 it is important for businesses to adapt where possible to the new challenges they are faced with. Provek is pleased to be able to offer virtual classroom training, to support organisations in being able to develop their staff and provide a positive opportunity to invest in their employee’s well-being, through learning new skills and gaining professional qualifications whilst working from home.
Last week, Provek began their virtual classroom tutor-led training with the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification two-day course. This course had originally been scheduled as part of the March public training week, therefore Provek quickly adapted to ensure clients could still achieve their professional development goals from the comfort of their home.
Through expert training delivered over Zoom, the course delegates successfully achieved a 100% pass rate! A high level of interactivity was maintained by the trainer over the two days, which included regular exercises through virtual breakout rooms and use of digital whiteboards.
Following the 2-day course, Provek spoke to the delegates to gain their feedback on the tutor-led virtual classroom training and received a few quotes on their positive experiences:
Nikki Lunnon, Consultant, NSG Consultancy:
“The trainer, Paul Peel was very friendly and promoted engagement of everyone. Paul was excellent – he encouraged everyone to take part and never said anyone was wrong when they suggested something, he was always positive and worked around answers to tease out the correct ones.”
Anoymous, APM PFQ delegate:
“The course was enjoyable as it was broken up into different activities and there was some engagement involved throughout the course. It was at the right level and speed so easy to keep up and understand the different topics. The virtual course is the next best to attending a live course but from the comfort of your own house. The technology was very user friendly and Provek was very supportive and rectified any problems. The trainer made everyone feel part of the course and tried interact with us just as if we were in the same room. I would recommend virtual courses as I felt I still obtained the same benefits as if I was at a live course.”
“I found the communication and support of a high standard and there was help in all areas including the exam which was very useful. I felt that Provek really wanted to help students and to make sure they had the best chance of passing the exam. I found the trainer very knowledgeable about the course and he was open to questions if there was an area I did not understand so I felt he was very approachable and would answer any queries.”
Dan Emmot, Compliance & Data Coordinator:
“The virtual PFQ course was great for me as I wanted to gain a solid understanding behind the principles of project management. The trainer gave a really detailed introduction on how the online course will work and ran through all of the features with us. Once we began learning about project management we were able to use the online features to get involved with various polls, questions and even be split into individual groups to work on tasks with other people on the course. Overall I gained a great understanding of project management and the features of the online course enhanced the learning experience.”
Anoymous, APM PFQ delegate:
“This has been my first virtual course and it has been great as it gives you flexibility with family and helps to avoid the unnecessary travel and reaching the same outcomes.”
“The trainer was very knowledgeable, and I believe his past experience has helped to deliver the course even online perfectly and professionally. The communication and support have been great and very quick.”
