APM PFQ two-day classroom (APM-accredited)

Course overview

Provek's two-day classroom course will enable delegates to attain the level of competence required to pass the Association of Project Management (APM) Project Fundamentals BoK7 Qualification (PFQ). Public and inhouse courses are available.

Course specification

Who should attend:

Project team members, project planners, project office staff, project coordinators, junior or inexperienced project managers, work package leads and any staff new to project management who require a broad insight in to project management principles and best-practice.

Duration:

Two days.

Timings:

Day 1 – 9am to 5pm

Day 2 – 9am to 4:30pm

Examination:

One-hour online examination of 60 multiple choice questions. This is booked through Provek.

The exam is scheduled at 1pm the day after training has completed (this can be an alternative time for inhouse courses – please discuss with your Provek account manager).

Venues:

Public courses are delivered virtually.

Inhouse courses can be delivered virtually or face-to-face at your office.

£893 + VAT per delegate for public courses.

Course style:

The course is tutor-led with participative exercises, case studies and revision questions.

Approximately five hours.

Pre-requisites:

None. However, some project experience is an advantage.

Qualification details

APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) – is designed for those embarking on a project management career or for individuals who require recognition for their general project management knowledge and awareness.

The course is based upon the Association for Project Management’s Body of Knowledge 7th edition and covers the syllabus for the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification examination. The course covers a wide range of topics at a summary level thus providing attendees with a broad understanding of project management terminology, basic techniques and the people and skills required to successfully manage a project.
